Siôn is a transformational life coach and mindfulness expert from Wales. He has traveled the world learning the skills and insights he now shares in his retreats and online coursers. He has become well known in his home country after making several appearances on national TV and BBC radio.

Tom is the glue that holds HealthNuts together. With his open loving heart and values of community, friendship and creative expression, Tom is here to help support and facilitate the day to day running of the centre.

Lara Pohl-Martell

Yoga Teacher

Lara has been practicing yoga for nearly a decade, finding deep joy in moving her body and connecting with breath. Her journey into teaching began with a desire to share the gifts of this powerful practice with others and nurture a sense of community.

 

She completed her 200-hour power yoga teacher training with CorePower Yoga in the US—not just once, but twice, drawn back by its depth and energy! In addition, she has trained in yin yoga and is currently on the path to becoming a certified mindfulness meditation teacher. Lara’s teaching superpower is her calm positivity, and she brings a grounded yet playful approach to her classes, creating a space where students can move with intention, breathe deeply, and feel at ease in their own bodies.

Malcolm Holmes

Yan Shou Gong Instructor

Malcolm's passion for martial arts began in his teens with Nanbudo and later Kung Fu, where he discovered a deep interest in the internal aspects of practice. This led him to Master Yap's Yan Shou Gong, a powerful internal art blending simplicity with profound depth.

Through workshops and advanced training, Malcolm earned Level 1 instructor status and has experienced significant personal benefits, including improved back health, reduced vertigo, and a stronger sense of grounding. He now shares Yan Shou Gong’s unique blend of wellness, self-defense, and surprising insights with others, inspiring them to explore this transformative art.

Kundalini Yoga Teacher

Tiger has been practicing yoga for over ten years and kundalini yoga for more than 5 years. Her experience of kundalini yoga, which is a mixture of kriya (postures), mantra and meditation is deeply transformational and healing, working on the subtle body as well as the physical body, helping to release deep rooted patterns and traumas in the body and mind.

Chris is a meditation teacher, body-based therapist and spiritual mentor with a deep passion for inner transformation and healing.

Chris holds a Masters Degree in Interdisciplinary Psychology and guides individuals to a place of inner peace and freedom through connecting deeply with the felt sense of the body.

Emily is a Yoga Alliance 200-hour qualified yoga teacher with a deep passion for Ashtanga and yoga as a powerful tool for healing from trauma. With a heartfelt commitment to supporting individuals on their journey of physical and emotional transformation, Emily’s teaching style integrates mindfulness, breathwork, and movement to create a safe and nurturing space for growth and self-discovery.

She trained at the renowned Orange Yoga Studio in Cheltenham, where she developed a strong foundation in yoga’s transformative potential, both physically and psychologically.

 

Inspired by her own healing journey and her work as a body psychotherapist, Emily specializes in using yoga to help individuals release emotional blockages, reconnect with their bodies, and cultivate inner peace.

Emily’s approach is rooted in her belief that yoga has the ability to heal trauma, reduce stress, and create lasting change in the body and mind. Whether through the dynamic flow of Ashtanga or more restorative practices, her classes offer students the opportunity to deepen their practice, enhance their well-being, and build resilience in the face of life’s challenges.

Lucy is a certified Personal Trainer and Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Teacher, she brings a unique blend of expertise and personal experience to your training sessions. She's walked the path of health and wellness, navigating challenges such as weight fluctuations, chronic illness, and injury. This journey has equipped her with the empathy, understanding, and practical knowledge to guide you on your own.

Body-Psychotherapist and Yoga Teacher

Jessica is a body psychotherapist and yoga teacher with a deep passion for integrating the mind-body connection. Drawing on years of experience in bioenergetic therapy, Jessica combines ancient wisdom with modern neuroscience to create transformative yoga classes. She specializes in helping individuals release emotional blockages, muscle tension, and behavioral patterns, fostering holistic healing and personal growth. With a compassionate approach, Jessica provides a safe space for her students to explore and release stored emotional energy, promoting greater freedom, balance, and well-being.
